Master’s scholarships for Public Policy and Good Governance (PPGG)
Since 2009 the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) has offered scholarships to international students from Africa, South America, South and Southeast Asia and the Middle East to study issues of Public Policy and Good Governance (PPGG) in German universities. Recently, students from Ukraine and Central Asian countries can also apply for the master's scholarship. The scholarship programme looks for international students with a strong desire to contribute to the social, political and administrative development of their countries and aims to prepare them for this task with a Master’s Degree.
Each year the DAAD grants up to 10 such scholarships to international students for the MA programme Democratic Governance and Civil Society at the University of Osnabrück. Students awarded a PPGG scholarship to study Democratic Governance and Civil Society will receive a six-month intensive German language course in Germany before arriving in Osnabrück for their master’s studies.
To see if you are eligible for this grant programme please see the DAAD’s list of eligible countries.
Applications for the intake in 2020 can be submitted between June, 1 and July 31, 2019.
